Job Description – Planning
 
Title Deputy General Manager or Manager
Title Planning, Revenue/Cost Analysis
Requirements : Over 5 years relevant experience in 5 star hotel, CPA preferred
                      Hotel Admin, Business, Accounting Major
Competencies
Financial Knowledge – Compiles and analyzes detailed revenue and cost information. Able to understand and monitor
economic conditions and conducts revenue forecast analysis, suggests strategies to boost revenue and reduce costs.
Commercial Awareness – Understands and advises on appropriate business planning; Demonstrates an awareness of
business opportunities and seizes and acts upon them; Is expert at financial issues such as revenue enhancement and cost control etc ; Identifies opportunities to ensure sustainable profit growth is achieved through implementing
cost-effective methods.
Strategic Planning – Selects the most appropriate tactic(s) from a range of alternatives and conveys the business plan
to others in a persuasive ways.
Main Duties and Scope of Role:
ㆍDefines, develops, and implements business planning processes
ㆍManages hotel related projects and conducts feasibility studies
ㆍPerforms an audit and manages the hotel accounting
ㆍReviews and gives a direction of hotel accounting and tax standard
ㆍCreates annual business planning reports for the KHN hotels and KHN HQ based on the understanding of
   each property
ㆍMonitors the financial performance and Creates monthly operating performance report
ㆍIn charge of budgeting, resource management, and revenue accounting.
ㆍExamines internal data and matches revenues to expenses to understand profitability
ㆍCreates long-term investment and procurement plans in consideration of the financial status
ㆍDevelops standard procedures to manage and maintain business operational and financial objectives.
ㆍMaintains in-depth knowledge of market dynamics such as competitor analysis, market share, demographic trends,
   and growth projections.
ㆍDevelops and implements best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives.
ㆍAvoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations;
   recommending new procedures.
ㆍReviews and supports hotel management contracts
