Job Description – Engineering (Electricity)
 
Title Manager
Title Electricity
Requirements : Over 5 years relevant work experience in 5 star hotel,
                        Engineering/Electricity related Major, Technical Certificate Preferred
Competencies
Technical Knowledge – Understanding of power transformation, lighting, power generation facilities,
automatic electricity control, and electric fire protection
Construction Knowledge – Able to review the hotel’s requirement, construction scope, expected budget and feasibility,
and other legal constrictions ; checks the construction site and finds the improvement plan; Understands up-to-date
hotel facilities trends and skills ; Reviews in collaboration with other parts (interior, architecture, electrical, etc.)
Construction Management – Reviews the quality of the construction and schedules; Reviews the hotel operation status
and the construction progress. Reviews and suggests solutions when problems occur during construction
Market Understanding – Holds operational knowledge of the hotel business so that operational efficiency can be
achieved when reviewing the construction
Main Duties and Scope of Role:
▪ Familiar and complies with the hotel’s mission and standards in performing maintenance activities.
▪ Maximizes potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owners satisfaction.
▪ Achieves electrical engineering operational objectives by contributing electrical engineering information and 
  recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, 
  productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends;
  determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.
▪ Conducts regular on-site inspection
▪ Ensures proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records.
▪ Plans electrical projects by determining specifications; selecting contractors; establishing installation schedules; shut-downs
  and installations; integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs; verifying code requirements;
  updating cost estimates.
▪ Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures;
  complying with codes and legal regulations.
▪ Updates job knowledge by remaining current on codes and requirements; participating in educational opportunities;
  reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
▪ Responsible for short and long term maintenance planning, and day-to-day operations.
▪ Develops and implements energy-saving approaches
